CrowdSourced

Its almost impossible to imagine a task that cannot be done by a computer, especially now that we are in the era of Quad-core  processors and 4GB Ram's. Enter CrowdSourcing, a technique that is used specially to accomplish tasks that cannot be efficiently  done by computers but by human beings. Lets take an example of comparing two photographs to tell whether they have the same character in them. This task although very simple for a human being can be extremely difficult for a computer because of the complexities involved in image processing. Moreover, it can produce incorrect results, which is something that we don't want.

Amazon's "Mechanical Turk" (MTurk) is a service that uses exactly this technique. MTurk is well known so it would be a cliche if I discuss it all over again.
